GENERAL INFORMATION
The North Carolina Youth Orchestra’s Philharmonic, featuring musicians from all four instrument families, is the perfect opportunity for beginning to intermediate level musicians to be introduced to the full orchestra experience! Under the skillful direction of Jen Bassett, this group performs a wide variety of musical genres. Placement in the Philharmonic is evaluated and determined by an audition.

Rehearsals for the Philharmonic are held on Tuesday nights at Bailey Middle School in Cornelius from 6:30-8:00pm. Please reference the calendar on our website for more information. Students should plan to arrive 15 minutes early to all rehearsals to allow time for instrument setup and warmups.
