June 21, 2025 [Cornelius, North Carolina] – Summer’s here and it’s technically the off-season for NCYO students, but that didn’t keep some dedicated young brass players from their chance to perform at Symphony In the Park at Bailey Road Park in Cornelius. This event has become a tradition for area residents as thousands of them gather to enjoy a patriotic performance by the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra and a dazzling fireworks display. With local businesses and food trucks set up around the field, concert goers were able to grab a sweet treat and listen to the sweet sounds of NCYO Brass students.
