YOUTH CHOIR
GENERAL INFORMATION
NCYO Youth Choir is a welcoming choral program for young singers that emphasizes musical excellence, joyful participation, and community through singing. Singers develop healthy vocal technique, musicianship, and ensemble skills through engaging rehearsals and carefully chosen repertoire. Instruction is designed to meet singers where they are while encouraging growth, confidence, and collaboration. As the program expands, singers may be placed in ensembles based on age and experience, ensuring an appropriate and supportive musical environment for every participant. The Youth Choir fosters a lifelong love of music and provides a strong foundation for continued choral study. Interested students will have a placement audition.
Rehearsals
Weekly on Tuesdays at Bailey Middle School

- Rehearsal: 7:20-8:30pm
DETAILS & PROGRAM FEES
Rehearsals for the Youth Choir are held on Tuesday nights at Bailey Middle School in Cornelius from 7:20-8:30pm. Please reference the calendar on our website for more information. Students should plan to arrive 15 minutes early to all rehearsals to allow time for check in, setup, and warmups.
