GENERAL INFORMATION
The NCYO’s Sinfonia Strings Ensemble is a beginning to intermediate strings ensemble for student musicians under the direction of Julia Fierova. Students in Sinfonia Strings will be given technical instruction as well as the opportunity to experience and develop ensemble-playing skills in a fun and enjoyable environment among other strings musicians. Participants will leave the program more equipped with the knowledge and tools needed for long-term success playing their instrument.

Weekly on Tuesdays at Bailey Middle School

- Rehearsal: 6:30-8:00pm

The NCYO season begins at the end of August and extends through the middle of May. Classes for the Sinfonia Strings Ensemble are held on Tuesdays at 6:30pm at Bailey Middle School in Cornelius. Students should plan to arrive 15 minutes early to all rehearsals. Placement in the Sinfonia Strings Ensemble is determined by an audition.
