February 27, 2026 [Huntersville, North Carolina] – NCYO’s newest ensemble, Youth Choir, is officially one month old, this new group of young singers began meeting on January 27. Growing NCYO’s ensembles has long been a goal and labor of love for NCYO Director Eric Boruff. His vision has now come to fruition under Youth Choir Director Renata Berlin’s guidance.
The NCYO Youth Choir is a welcoming choral program for young singers that emphasizes musical excellence, joyful participation, and community through singing. Under Berlin’s direction, students will learn healthy vocal technique, musicianship, and ensemble skills. Like NCYO’s other ensembles, Youth Choir fosters a lifelong love of music and provides and strong foundation for continued choral study.
